Installing ownCloud Community Edition

ownCloud is a self-hosted file sync and share server similar to Dropbox or Google Drive. It provides access to your data from mobile devices, personal computers, a web interface and WebDAV while providing view, sync and share access across devices easily — all under your control. ownCloud’s open architecture is extensible via a simple but powerful API for applications and plugins, and it works with any back-end storage. ownCloud can be hosted on the SimplStor storage system and present available storage to devices through an easy to use, native interface. When configured with an SSL certificate, synchronized, shared access to files across a wide variety of computers and mobile devices can be secured over the Internet. ownCloud can utilize Active Directory for authentication and access control.
