Introduction

To fully understand how SimplStor performs in a customer environment, we ran a series of tests to measure our ability to transfer data across a network. In our previous testing, all reads and writes were measured within the SimplStor, without the encumbrances of NFS or CIFS and the operating system overhead related to serving up mount points or shares to network attached hosts.
